What to check before you buy a used photocopier
- The page count. It tells you how hard the machine has worked. Ask for it in writing.
- Parts and toner. Can the seller still get them for this model? An orphaned machine is cheap for a reason.
- Who services it. A copier needs servicing. Buying one nobody will look after is a false saving.
- What comes with it. Drawers, finisher, document feeder, fax or scanning options.
- Delivery and setup. A floor copier weighs well over 80 kilograms. Moving it and installing it on your network is a job in itself.
A used copier is only cheap if someone will keep it running.

We do not sell a machine we cannot service. If a model is near the end of its support, we will tell you and point you to something that will last.
Used is right for an office printing modest volumes that wants a full A3 copier for the least outlay. If you print heavily, a refurbished machine is usually the better long term buy.
Used A3 copiers
Most used copiers for sale in Brisbane are A3 colour machines that came out of offices at the end of a lease: Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Canon, Kyocera and Toshiba among them. A used A3 copier suits an office printing modest volumes that wants A3 and colour for the least outlay.
Rather spread the cost? A refurbished A3 machine on a rental needs no large outlay at all. Cheap A3 copiers sets the two side by side.
Ex lease and low meter machines
Many used copiers are ex lease machines that came back at the end of an office's contract. Some have very low meters because they sat in a quiet office. Ask us for the page count on any machine and we will tell you.

What warranty comes with a used copier bought outright?
On our service agreement, the same replacement warranty as a new machine, for the whole term. Bought outright without a service agreement, the warranty depends on the machine, and we tell you what it is, in writing, before you buy.
Is a second hand photocopy machine worth it?
For a small office printing modest volumes, yes, as long as it is checked, has a reasonable page count and someone will service it. That is the combination we sell.
Can I rent a used copier?
Most refurbished machines can be rented. Older used machines are usually bought outright. Ask and we will tell you what is possible for the one you like.
Do you deliver used copiers?
