Its sisters in the series are the IM 3000 (30 pages a minute), the IM 3500 (35 pages a minute), the IM 4000 (40 pages a minute), the IM 5000 (50 pages a minute) and the IM 6000 (60 pages a minute). It scans both sides of a page in one pass at up to 120 images a minute, holds 1,200 sheets as standard and up to 4,700 with extra trays and takes card up to 300 gsm. It was followed by the IM 2510.

The IM 2500 suits a small office of up to about five people. If more people print, the IM 3000 is the same machine at 30 pages a minute.

Buy it outright, or rent or lease it over up to 60 months, depending on the machine's age. Delivery, installation on your network, scanning setup and showing your team how to use it are in the price.

A maker's warranty on a new copier usually runs for 12 months and covers the hardware, not consumables. After that, the service agreement is what really covers you. The replacement warranty terms are set out in your agreement.
