When an A4 machine is enough
- Nobody in the office prints A3.
- Fewer than about ten people use it.
- You print up to a few thousand pages a month.
- Space is tight.
If any of those is not true, look at an A3 copier instead.
For a small team that never prints A3, a smaller machine does the same job.
A business printer, not a shop printer
The difference between a business multifunction printer and one from a retail shelf is in the running. A business MFP is built for volume, scans double sided documents in one pass to email and folders, has proper security, and is serviced on site. Toner lasts longer and costs less per page.
We supply new A4 multifunction printers from Toshiba, Kyocera, HP, OKI and Lexmark, and secondhand machines from most other brands.
Business printers we supply
New A4 business printers from Toshiba, Kyocera ECOSYS, HP Color LaserJet Enterprise, OKI and Lexmark: colour and mono laser multifunction printers, also called MFPs, MFDs or all in one office printers. If you want a desktop photocopier, small enough for a desk or bench, this is that machine.
Replacing a printer from a shop that cannot keep up, such as a Brother, Epson or Canon? A business MFP is the usual step up. Buy one outright, take an office printer rental, or arrange an office printer lease.
What is an MFD?
MFD means multifunction device. MFP means multifunction printer. Both mean a machine that prints, copies and scans, and often faxes. The words are used for A4 and A3 machines alike.
