Kyocera TASKalfa 5052ci in Brisbane

What it is

The TASKalfa 5052ci is the 50 page a minute model of Kyocera's TASKalfa 2552ci series. Its sisters in the series are the TASKalfa 2552ci (25 pages a minute), the TASKalfa 3252ci (32 pages a minute), the TASKalfa 4052ci (40 pages a minute) and the TASKalfa 6052ci (60 pages a minute). It scans at up to 100 images a minute with the optional single pass document feeder, holds 1,150 sheets as standard and up to 7,150 with extra trays and takes card up to 300 gsm. It was followed by the TASKalfa 5053ci.

Who it suits

The TASKalfa 5052ci suits a busy office of thirty or more, or a print room. If more people print, the TASKalfa 6052ci is the same machine at 60 pages a minute. If fewer do, the TASKalfa 4052ci runs at 40.

Buying one through us

We sell the TASKalfa 5052ci renewed, refurbished or used, each one checked, with its page count given to you in writing before you decide. Buy it outright, or rent or lease it over up to 60 months, depending on the machine's age. Delivery, installation on your network, scanning setup and showing your team how to use it are in the price.

On our service agreement it carries our replacement warranty for the whole term: if it fails, we replace it. Rentals start from $15 a week plus GST on selected machines, subject to approval.

What to check on a secondhand one

• The page count. We give it to you in writing. It matters more than the age.
• What is fitted. A finisher, extra drawers or a large capacity tray change what the machine can do and what it costs.
• Who will service it. A secondhand copier is only good value if someone keeps it running. We service every machine we sell.
• The cost per page. Ask for black and white and colour, in writing, and what they include.
